TheVolkan150 is a powerful incinerator featuring an integral
after-burner, making it compliant withEuropean legislation. It
is ideal for the disposal of poultry, individual sheep, medium
sized animal carcasses, pet cremation, farm shopwaste and
abattoir waste.
It is an easy to use, top loading incinerator. It is ideal for
farmers needing todispose of smaller waste volumes, up
to that of amedium sized ewe. The operator simply loads
the animal carcass into themain chamber and commences
a burn programme. The incinerator can then be left
unattended until the carcass has been reduced to ash.
TheVolkan150 is highly efficient, utilising automatic high heat
rate burners, low thermal mass linings and timer controls that
ensureminimal running costs; a thermostat triggers burner
shut-off when optimum temperatures are reached, increasing
fuel efficiency significantly. Themodel is designed to use the
inherent fuel propertieswithin animal fat that aid combustion.
With a burn rate of up to 50kgper hour, theVolkan150 has
low capacity status requiring noplanningpermission for farm
usage.
Easily installed on site, it simply requires concrete
hardstanding and a 230 volt electricity and fuel supply.
