TheVolkan500 a ismedium capacity, yet powerful incinerator featuring an integral after-burnermaking it compliant with
European legislation. It is ideal for the disposal of poultry, pigs, sheep, large sized animal carcasses, pet cremation,
farm shopwaste and abattoir waste.
TheVolkan500 is aDEFRA ‘TypeApproved’, compact, easy to use, front-loading incinerator which easily accommodates
large volumes of waste. The optional trolley andwinch further assists insertion of waste and once loaded, the operator
selects a burn program and can leave the incinerator unattended until thewaste has been reduced to ash.
It is highly efficient with low thermal mass linings and timer controls to ensureminimal running costs; a thermostat triggers
burner shut-off when optimum temperatures are reached, increasing fuel efficiency significantly. Themodel is designed to
use the inherent fuel propertieswithin animal fat that aid combustion.With a burn rate of up to 50kgper hour, the incinerator
retains low capacity status and requires noplanningpermission for on farm usage.
Easily installed on site, it simply requires concrete hard-standing and a 230 volt electricity and fuel supply.
