Established in the 1990s, Waste Spectrum
Environmental, part of the Spectrum Environmental
Group, is a British company that specialise in the
design and manufacture of biosecure incinerator
systems of varying capacities for a wide range of
applications.
Our company now operates in more than 60 countries
with more than 4000 separate systems installed and
operational for a wide variety of clients in the private and
public sectors. Our incinerators are now being used,
by businesses and also by Government Departments
worldwide.
Robust and precisely engineered from high quality
materials, all our incinerators are DEFRA type-approved
and compliant with EU emissions legislation (when supplied
with a secondary chamber).
Our expertise in the manufacture and supply of mobile
and static models has developed year on year. Suitable
for animal carcass incineration, municipal and medical
incineration, our market leading range of incinerators
always offer a bio-secure solution.
Our Volkan and Hurikan ranges are suited to poultry,
sheep, pig, cattle, equine, game, hunt-kennel and abattoir
incineration. We also offer pet cremation systems, and our
VolkanPro range has been specifically developed for use in
medical and municipal surroundings.
As an industry expert in incineration legislation, our
complete range complies with EU Animal By-Products
Regulation (EC) No. 1069/2009. We were the first
company to achieve UK DEFRA ‘type-approval’ having
been instrumental in the development and interpretation
of the legislation.
